I have just recently found out that joliet animal control euthanizes pits because they are pits. I and a few family members wanted to save this sweet lab/ pit mix and Andy from animal control told me they do not adopt pits out when they get them in they hold them for 7 days and then if no owner claims them they are killed, no chance of being adopted, eventhough I told him I was interested in this sweet girl. Is this legal? How can I stop this? What can I do? who can help? Someone needs to help me stop this!!!!!11
